An external evaluation found that after participating in Consortium workshops graduate programs:
Experienced an increase in the number and fraction of racially minoritized applicants, admittees, and enrolled students.
Experienced an increase in the number and fraction of women admitted and enrolled.
Increased use of inclusive recruitment and holistic admission practices.
Changes have been sustained for 3+ years.

In a 2020-2021 survey, 90% of the respondents indicated that they strongly agreed or somewhat agreed that C-CIDE workshops drove changes in their admission practices.
All 19 pilot partner programs members who participated in an external evaluation survey indicated that changes in admission and recruiting practices would be sustained in the coming years.
